Overview
Liposculpture reshapes the body contour by addressing localized deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise. Dr. Hermes works zone by zone to sculpt a more proportionate, harmonious silhouette while respecting your body's natural curves. The goal is a balanced, natural result.
Dr. Hermes's approach
Dr. Hermes makes small, discreet incisions and uses thin cannulas to reshape each area with gentle, controlled movements. His humanistic approach means careful, zone-by-zone planning, prioritizing overall harmony over treating a single area. Safety guides every decision, from the volume treated to surgical timing.
Risks and honesty
Like all surgery, liposculpture carries risks: prolonged swelling, bruising, contour irregularities or asymmetry, temporary sensation changes, fluid buildup (seroma), or infection. In less common cases, skin pigmentation changes can occur. Dr. Hermes reduces these risks with meticulous technique and close follow-up, but no procedure is risk-free and results vary.
Are you a good candidate?
Ideal candidates are near a stable weight, have good skin elasticity, and localized deposits in the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, or arms. Good overall health and realistic expectations are important. Liposculpture defines contour and is not a weight-loss method.

Ready to take the first step?Recovery, step by step
- 01
First 3-5 days
More pronounced swelling and bruising, a feeling of tightness. Continuous use of the compression garment and relative rest, with medication for discomfort. By day 3 to 5, many patients already resume light activities or desk work.
- 02
Week 1-2
Swelling begins to subside and bruising lightens. Around the first or second week, light physical activity resumes, still avoiding intense exertion. The garment is maintained and lymphatic drainage massages often begin as directed.
- 03
Month 2-6
Between 2 and 6 months the definitive results appear: residual swelling resolves and the contour stabilizes. You can resume full exercise once cleared. Keeping a stable weight helps preserve the outcome.
Before & after
When real photographs are available, they are shown with patient consent. Results vary from person to person.
Frequently asked
It is not a weight-loss method but a way to define the contour of localized areas. The best results come when you are already near a stable weight. Dr. Hermes will assess whether you are a good candidate and what you can realistically expect.
Removed fat cells do not return, but if you gain significant weight, your body may store fat in other areas. Healthy habits and a stable weight are key to preserving the contour. Results vary from person to person.
Yes. The compression garment helps control swelling, supports skin adaptation, and accompanies the contour during recovery. Dr. Hermes will tell you how long to wear it based on your case.
