Risks and honesty
Like all surgery, it carries risks: hematoma, seroma, infection, minor asymmetry, or temporary sensation changes. In uncommon cases, temporary weakness of a facial nerve. Dr. Hermes reduces these with meticulous technique and close follow-up.

First 3-5 days
Marked swelling and bruising, normal at this stage. Rest with the head elevated and dressings as directed. Avoid physical activity and sun.

Week 1-2
Swelling eases and bruising improves. Sutures come out between day 7 and 10. You can resume very light activities.
- 03
Week 3 - Month 3
The result becomes visible as swelling goes down. You resume light physical activity and, later, moderate exercise with sun protection. Scars fade over several months, with follow-up from Dr. Hermes.
